
Nghen Town in Ha Tinh Province saw flood water rising up to over 40cm on Monday morning, making it difficult for travelling on many local streets.

Traffic police were sent to direct the traffic and put up warning sites on some streets.

Some schools in the town were closed as flood water rose high.


In Loc Ha and Can Loc districts in Ha Tinh, many people had to move their assets to avoid the flood.

National Road 8A in Huong Son District has been blocked since 4am after a large amount of rocks and soil fell from the nearby Nam Mountain during the rain.

Some neighbouring localities of Nghe An and Danang are also seeing serious flooding as the rain has spread into the whole region.

It is forecast that the central region will continue to face heavy rains with average rainfall of up to 200mm until November 14.
