Firm supports Dantri's bridge construction in Son La

Garco 10's general director, Than Duc Viet, brought the company's donation to Dantri Newspaper's headquarters in Hanoi on January 2 to co-operate with the newspaper to build a bridge in Ngoc Chien Commune, Muong La District.

"We're very happy to help subsidise a bridge for people in Ngoc Chien Commune," Viet said. "We think that building a bridge is a meaningful and practical gift for local people."

The director also shared that this is the seventh bridge construction project that they have co-operated with Dantri so far.

Receiving the donation, Dantri Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Nguyen Xuan Toan, expressed his sincere thanks to the management board and staff members at Garment 10 Joint Stock Company for their co-operation with the newspaper's charity activities.

"We hope to continue receiving your support and co-operation to build more bridges and schools for people in difficult areas," Toan said.

The bridge will be built across a spring in Nam Nghiep Village, Ngoc Chien Commune. At present, more than 1,000 local people are using a makeshift wooden bridge which poses dangers for local people, especially during flood seasons.
