Nine homes in the Nam Dong complex, which houses military personnel were destroyed by a fire this morning, November 11.
The fire started around 9:30am, spreading from room 301, D1 building, used as a residence for those who serve in the army. It spread quickly, causing major damage to nine apartments from the third to the fifth floor. Hundreds of fight fighters, rescue workers and several fire trucks descended on the scene. The teams got the blaze under control by around 12:00pm.
Police have started an investigation into the causes.
