Six newly-installed machines of this kind have attracted lots of local people who used them for doing their exercise and contributing to clean the lake water.
The machine is similar to a bicycle but it is linked to a power generator and a water filtration system. So when people use the machine, the generator will run and produce power.
The power transmitted into a battery helps the water filtration operate to pump water from the lake into a filter tank. After being filtered, water is pumped back into the lake.
This model has been implemented at Nhieu Loc Canal in HCM City and this is the first time it has been carried out in Hanoi.
