The video on the pod recorded by 23-year-old local fisherman Nguyen Ky was widely shared on social media.
Some among the dolphins detected near Doi Cape
According to Ky, the dolphins were seen in the area around 10 kilometres from the south of Doi Cape in Van Ninh District.
He added that there were so many dolphins that he could not count exactly the number. They swam in front of his boat for around 30 minutes. Some of them could be up to 2.5 metres long.
In June, a group of dolphins also appeared near Hon Gam Beach in Van Ninh District.
Early last month, around 6-7 blue whales were also found near De Gi Beach in the southern central province of Binh Dinh.
