The donations came after an article about the condition of the 20-month-old, Vu Duy Hoang, had been published in the Dantri/DTiNews Newspaper.
In July, the boy was taken to the National Institute of Burns due to being burnt by hot water. Up to 66 percent of his body was affected.

He was hospitalised in a critical condition in great pain and with a high fever.
He has returned to hospital after a two-week stay at home.
The Bac Giang Red Cross and Vinh Phat Real Estate Company used the occasion to grant several gifts to the family.
Nguyen Thi Nhai, Hoang’s mother, expressed her thanks to the public for the donation.
According to Tran Dinh Hung from the National Hospital of Burns, the boy’s condition was very serious and needed lengthy treatment.
