Representatives from the newspaper and the Cau Den Ward People's Committee on Friday visited 30 local families who are facing economic difficulties to give the gifts valued at VND 15 million which were donated by Dantri readers.
Secretary of Cau Den Ward Party Committee, Nguyen Tien Toan, said that the gifts were very meaningful and would encourage people to live better in the new year. Toan also sent his sincere thanks to readers of the newspaper for their care and support.
The same day, Dantri also presented 15 gifts to staff members at the Cau Den Ward People's Committee.
