Danang starts construction of a VND1.20 trillion coastal road on September 8.
The road runs nearly 3 km with six lanes. It will have a speed limit of 60 km/h.
Total investment is estimated at over VND1.20 trillion, of which VND700 billion will come from the city’s budget and the remainder from the national budget.
The project is expected to be completed and open to traffic by the end of 2025.
Danang City People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh said that the road would facilitate Lien Chieu Port as well as connect the port with the national transport network. It will also help improve transportation between the port and other traffic systems and industrial zones in Danang, the central and central highlands regions.
