Local markets were requested to temporarily halt from midnight Monday to ensure safety during the storm.
On Monday afternoon, Hoa Minh and Hoa Khanh markets in Lien Chieu District were crowded. However, goods prices remained stable. Many supermarkets also attracted customers the same day.

As of 1 pm September 28, the storm’s eye would be on the central coastal region, between Thua Thien-Hue and Quang Ngai provinces.
