Ngo Thi Minh Trinh, vice chairman of Krong Pak District, said that preparations for the festival were underway. The locality sees the event as a chance to promote its durian products and other kinds of fruits.

The festival would help connect farmers, enterprises, and consumers to boost durian development.
Krong Pak is home to 5,841 hectares of different kinds of crops, including 3,700 hectares of durian. Last year, its durian output reached 45,000 tonnes.
Nearly 600 hectares of durian owned by 500 households currently have VietGAP certification.
The durian harvest in Krong Pak lasts from August to November.
