The proposal has been sent to the provincial people’s committee for consideration.
A corner of Da Lat City
Between 2022 and 2023, the city proposes building a musical fountain park at Da Lat Flower Garden, a 900-metre food street on Tran Le Street and Hoang Van Thu Lake area in Ward 4, a night market stretching along Road 3/2, the streets of Truong Cong Dinh, Tang Bat Ho and Nguyen Chi Thanh in Ward 1 and Lam Vien Square.
In the 2023-2030 period, the city wants to build a 1.6-km pedestrian street area linking Dinh Tien Hoang-Tran Quoc Toan Junction and Da Lat Flower Garden. Cultural events will be held in the street.
The city has also suggested building a new market model at Anh Sang Park area in Ward 1 to replace the current night market on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street.
Da Lat is seeking provincial approval for building a night-time tourism complex that includes casinos and shophouses and entertainment services at Love Valley, Mong Mo Hill and Thong Nhat Hill areas.
