According to Dinh Viet Thang, head of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV), the agency has resumed the operations of Vinh, Phu Bai, Chu Lai, Phu Cat, Pleiku, Buon Me Thuot, Lien Khuong and Tuy Hoa airports from midday Wednesday. Dong Hoi and Danang airports are expected to be reopened after 2 pm today.

Vietnam Airlines, Bamboo Airways and Vietjet Air said that they would resume flights as soon as weather conditions permitted.

Ten airports in the central region of Vietnam had halted flights since Tuesday because of Storm Noru.

The only damage to date reported at the affected airports was some Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation antenna at Danang International Airport. They have already been replaced.
