The closing ceremony for the 2011 Vietnam Professional Windsurfers Association (PWA) Grand Slam was held at Sealinks Beach Hotel in the southern province of Binh Thuan on March 5.
The competition attracted the participation of more than 92 windsurfers from 28 countries and territories competing in freestyle and slalom categories.
Kiri Thode from the Netherlands won the freestyle event and Sarah Quita Offringa from Aruba and Bjorn Dunkerbeck from Switzerland won the women’s and men’s slalom events, respectively.
