According to a report by Dong Nai authorities, the park's operator has already paid more than VND 154 billion (USD 5.9 million) in administrative fines and suspended all tourism operations since May 2025.

The company has relocated about 97.7 per cent of its animals and dismantled part of the facility's animal enclosures.
It currently manages 97 wild animals, including 14 Asiatic black bears, two brown bears, 11 yellow-cheeked gibbons, 32 peafowl, five grey wolves, a bobcat and nine Bengal tigers.
The company has reached an agreement with a tourism operator in Phu Quoc to receive the 14 bears during June.
It is also working with receiving facilities to relocate the remaining animals, prioritising species subject to special management requirements, including bears and Bengal tigers.
Before the closure of Vuon Xoai Ecotourism Park, the facility housed 8,517 animals from 38 species, including bears, elephants, Bengal tigers, peafowl and giraffes.
Authorities said restoration work has been completed in several areas where animals have already been relocated, including crocodile, elephant and monkey enclosures.
The company has requested an extension until June 30 to complete demolition and site restoration work, citing the scale of the project and difficulties in securing labour and financial resources.
