This conference is of great significance for the successful completion of the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress’ resolution and is viewed as an opportunity to evaluate objectively and comprehensively the results and achievements recorded since the beginning of the XIII term until now.
At this meeting, the Party Central Committee will give opinions on a report reviewing the leadership and direction of the Politburo, the Mid-term Secretariat and a number of key tasks until the end of the term of the 13th Party Congress.
The conference will take the vote of confidence of the Central Committee for the members of the Politburo, the XIII Secretariat, and discuss some other important issues.
In addition, remaining limitations, weaknesses, causes and lessons learned will be pointed out at the conference, while touching upon forecast regarding the context of a new situation with opportunities, advantages and difficulties, and challenges in order to outline major guidelines and decisions that need to be focused in the second half of the XIII term.
The conference will also consider and decide on many key issues relating to the fulfillment of political tasks of the 13th Central Committee from now until the end of its term in the context of the world and domestic situation that has been and will continue to witness rapid, complicated and unpredictable developments, with greater difficulties and challenges than forecast as well as in recent terms.
As planned, the conference will run until May 17.
