The exhibition areas will be arranged according to themes. Lighting effects and modern projection technologies will create an attractive space.
The three sides of the museum will face the sea.
Work on the Truong Sa Museum is set to commence by the end of this year and is expected to be completed in the near future. Once open, the museum will serve as a destination for exploring our rich culture and history and will also play a crucial role in raising awareness of our country's maritime and island sovereignty.
The museum is the second phase of the Ga Ma Memorial Site Project. The site, which cost VND130 billion (USD5.14 million) to build and was put into operation in 2017, commemorates the 64 members of the Vietnam People's Navy who died defending Gac Ma (Johnson South) Reef in the Spratly Islands.
