Prime Minister, NVIDIA President and CEO tour Hanoi's Old Quarter

Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and NVIDIA President and CEO Jensen Huang on Thursday evening toured Hanoi's Old Quarter to explore the life and culture of the capital city.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh invited NVIDIA President and CEO Jensen Huang to Ta Hien Street to enjoy Hanoi's street food such as fried tofu with scallions (Dau phu tam hanh), fried fermented pork rolls (nem chua), and local beer.

Mr. Huang warmly greeted the Vietnamese people with friendly waves and  signed autographs for them.

 Prime Minister Chinh and Mr. Huang cheerfully shouted "Vietnam" together.

Mr. Jensen Huang enthusiastically interacted with the locals and tourists at Ta Hien Street and offering the dishes to many of them with a warm smile.

The appearance of Prime Minister Chinh and Mr. Huang drew a large crowd of locals and tourists, making Ta Hien Street become packed with people. 

According to the Vietnam News Agency, on Thursday evening, the Prime Minister and Mr. Huang also visited Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake, as well as shops selling books and souvenirs.

On the same day, Prime Minister Chinh and Mr. Huang witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Government of Vietnam and the US chip giant on the establishment of an artificial intelligence (AI) research and development centre and an AI data centre in Vietnam, the Vietnam News Agency reported.
