Under the instruction of the municipal people’s committee, the running must begin no later than 5.30 am and finish before 8 am to reopen the roads for the public.

Sections of the closed roads for the races but without alternative routes should be closed and opened flexibly.
Organising units are urged to inform the affected residential areas about the road closure plans during the runs.
The organisers must also have a traffic flow plan in place, ensuring security, order, and medical services to guarantee the safe conduct of the race.
Environmental hygiene in the race areas must be improved compared to previous years, and the areas must be quickly cleaned after the events conclude.
In 2024, eight marathon and half marathon competitions were held in Hanoi.
