The Center for Educational Technology and Career Development (ETC) – Vietnam National University Hanoi recently launched its first course opening ceremony of Delaware State University’s MBA program in Vietnam.
DSU’s MBA program is one of the few MBA programs in Vietnam that is accredited by AACSB – a worldwide prestigious association that specialized in verifying quality of schools and business schools. Up to now, less than 5% of the business schools in the world received this honorable recognition. In particular, DSU’s MBA program also ranks as one of the world’s best 269 business schools by The Princeton Review.
DSU's MBA program in Vietnam parallels the American program in content, and objectives. The program is exclusively designed for working professionals and aspiring managers from a wide range of backgrounds who wish to advance their careers or acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed as managers and leaders in a global economy. The MBA Program lasts about 16 months, the classes are offered outside working hours and on weekends. Most of the courses are lectured by American faculty from DSU. Innovative methods, student-centered learning environment and applied research will help to develop successful leaders and managers in an ever-changing global society.
“This MBA program provides students in developing countries with the usable skills that will position them well for advancement in their careers. Like other Asian countries, Vietnam needs active and excellent business managers and the US business education is still the most valuable and coveted education in the world,” said Tony Sanichara, Director of DSU’s MBA program in Vietnam.
The opening ceremony for this first intake will take place in Tam Dao. Forty students, some of whom are CEOs, CFO’s and other members of the C-level team, successful entrepreneurs, along with finance and accounting professionals who have registered for the program will participate in a 2-day VNU/ETC sponsored innovative program at Tam Dao. The 2-day event will follow the opening session, and is designed to provide soft skills and knowledge that will be of enormous value to any business or finance professional. Included are critical thinking, managerial judgment & decision making, and case study analysis and methodology. In addition, there will be organized activities designed to build teams and develop relationships necessary for the successful completion of a program that will require dedication, commitment, and hard work.
