During the initial phase after reopening, Lien Khuong Airport is expected to handle 36-40 flights a day, serving about 6,800 passengers.

Passenger traffic is estimated to reach about 816,000 in the final four months of 2026.

Domestic routes will connect Dalat with Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Danang, Vinh, Haiphong and Can Tho.

International services are also expected to resume. The Dalat-Kuala Lumpur route is scheduled to operate four flights a week, while the Dalat-Singapore route is expected to resume in December 2026 with three flights a week.

The airport's reopening after five months of repairs is particularly significant as Lam Dong Province prepares to host a series of major events towards the end of the year, including the 11th Dalat-Lam Dong Flower Festival, the third Vietnam Brocade Culture Festival and the Langbiang International Music Festival 2026.

The runway and taxiway repair project at Lien Khuong International Airport was developed by ACV, with total investment of more than VND 1 trillion (USD 37.7 million).
