International arrivals reached 5.31 million, up 25 per cent year-on-year, while domestic visitors totalled 15.85 million, up 11.9 per cent. Overall visitor numbers rose 15 per cent from a year earlier.
Tourism revenue during the period was estimated at VND86.47 trillion (USD 3.3 billion), up 17.9 per cent year-on-year.

In July alone, Hanoi received an estimated 3.16 million visitors, generating VND 12.3 trillion in tourism revenue. Average hotel occupancy reached 58.2 per cent, slightly higher than a year earlier.
The city has expanded its tourism offerings through cultural festivals and community-based tourism in outlying areas, including Ba Vi, My Duc, Bat Trang and Ung Hoa, in an effort to attract more visitors and diversify travel experiences.
