A café in Bac Tu Liem District is full of national and Liberation flags, reflecting a strong patriotic spirit ahead of Reunification Day.

With its harmonious blend of colours and lighting, the space exudes patriotism and national pride while serving as an ideal check-in spot for customers.

The café’s highlight is its creatively crafted drinks paired with a cake shaped like the national flag, a meaningful touch that has attracted crowds of young people eager to enjoy the experience and snap check-in photos.

Nguyen Thi Hoai Ninh, 35, the café owner, said the decorations were planned a month ago to inspire patriotism and national pride. Despite being newly opened, the coffee shop has captivated many customers.

Ngo Yen Nhi (right), 21, and her friend took photos with national flags at the café. “When I came to the café and saw so many young people immersing in the vibrant red-and-yellow setting and posing with the flags, my sense of pride in Vietnam grew even stronger,” Nhi said.

A café on Hang Ma Street in Hoan Kiem District is decorated similarly. During peak hours, the parking area is often overwhelmed, and staff are kept busy rearranging vehicles to ensure enough space for visitors to enjoy the atmosphere and take photos.

The most striking feature is a large flag of the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam, a powerful symbol proudly displayed to evoke memories and celebrate the historic significance of April 30.

The café’s signature drinks are carefully crafted, topped with vivid images of the red flag with a yellow star, adding a unique patriotic touch.

The combination of rich flavours and patriotic symbolism has made these drinks a standout feature, capturing the attention of many visitors.
