Bamboo Airways has informed its partners that it will suspend charter flights between Hanoi and Lijiang, China, from August 1 following a revision of its operating plans.
The airline said it had worked with relevant parties to explore options for maintaining the charter service but, after considering several alternatives, concluded that no viable solution remained.

Bamboo Airways expressed regret over the decision and apologised to travel partners and passengers affected by the cancellation.
Passengers with confirmed bookings have been advised to contact their travel agents, tour operators or ticketing offices for assistance with refunds, ticket changes or alternative travel arrangements.
A review of the airline's booking system by Dantri/Dtinews on July 31 showed that several major domestic routes, including Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi-Danang and Hanoi-Quy Nhon, no longer displayed available flights for August. The domestic flight schedule on Bamboo Airways' official website is currently available only through the end of July.
On July 28, the carrier issued a statement following a series of flight delays and cancellations in recent weeks. The airline accepted responsibility for the disruption, apologised to affected passengers and said eligible customers would receive refunds.
Bamboo Airways said its customer service centre would process refund requests in the order they were received but warned that handling times could be longer than usual because of a sharp increase in demand.
The latest developments come as the airline continues to reduce the scale of its operations.
According to data from Planespotters, Bamboo Airways currently operates a fleet of just three aircraft: one Airbus A321ceo, one Airbus A320neo and one Airbus A320ceo.
Before entering its restructuring process, the airline founded by Trinh Van Quyet operated a fleet of 44 aircraft, including Airbus A319, A320, A321 and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
