Currently, only a few small toilets set up by local businesses on the beach are available, and they are usually overcrowded during peak times. Meanwhile, the beach is up to 4 kilometres long, making it inconvenient for tourists to find public toilets.

Ha Long City has built many modern toilets, including three at Ha Long Flower Park and two on Tran Quoc Nghien Street.
Each 40-100 square metre toilet offers modern interiors and nice architecture.
The city has seen annual tourist growth, so there is an urgent need to build more public toilets at tourist sites and main streets, particularly in the Bai Chay area.
Residents, restaurants, and hotel owners are also called to join efforts to support tourists.
