The dredged sediment is likely to mostly contain fine sand and silt, with no radioactive substances, toxins, or hazardous waste. Starting on January 22, it will also be dumped into a 175-hectare sea area off Nghi Son Town over two years.

The firm can only dump in the designated sea area within the set time. It will be fully responsible for any possible environmental incidents.
