Actor Ho Vinh Khoa (right) and US model Rhonee Rojas hold a wedding in Hawaii on October 1.
The photos showed the happy couple exchanging rings and kissing each other at their wedding which was attended by their parents.
"My life always goes with surprise," the 29-year-old actor wrote on his Facebook page. "Last year I came here with a broken heart but this year with a full heart and new beginnings."
The actor's post soon received lots of congratulations from friends and fans many of whom said this was a really shocking but nice surprise.
This is the first time Khoa announced his gender identity although there have been doubts over his sexual orientation.
The actor's spouse, Rhonee Rojas, 35, is a famous international model who represented the US at the Mister International 2011. He was also a Hawaii representative at the Manhunt International 2011 and Men Universe Model 2012.
Khoa and Rojas often shared photos of their holiday trips together, which raised rumours about their sexual orientations. Khoa came to live in the US at the end of August.
