Ministry plans free education for primary and secondary pupils
>> Education minister expresses sympathy at low teacher salaries The Ministry of Education and Training has proposed to exempt tuition fees at public schools for both primary and secondary pupils.
It also suggested that primary school teachers must have a full degree instead of a vocational training qualification.
The age and number of grades for each level are still the same. However, mandatory education will be divided into two phases: basic education for the primary and secondary pupils, and career orientation for high school pupils.
