The opening ceremony of the event will be organised at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square in Phan Thiet City at 8 pm.

The festival will include different activities, including the Sac Mau Binh Thuan (The Colours of Binh Thuan) Street Carnival, a two-night Rock Fest concert at Mui Ne and an exhibition highlighting Vietnamese seas and islands with the participation of 28 coastal provinces and cities.
The exhibition will feature historical documents, artefacts, publications, and photos featuring the beauty of the country’s seascapes and the evidence of the country’s sovereignty over seas and islands, the Vietnam News Agency reported.
The festival was originally scheduled to open at 7:30 pm on August 28, but this was changed to September 2.
In the first half of this year. Binh Thuan served 4.46 million tourists, representing an on-year rise of 86 percent.
