Vietnamese representative, Nam Em, has won the silver medal in the Talent Competition of the Miss Earth 2016 by performing an English language song.

Nam Em performed the song You Raise Me Up at the Talent Competition, ranked the second behind a contestant from the Cook Islands.
The prize has encouraged Nam Em to compete with future Miss Earth 2016 events.
Besides the Talent Competition, the pageant includes others such as traditional dress, gala evening and bikini performances before the final round is organised.
Nam Em is ambassador of the Mekong Delta Green Tourism Week 2015 and participated in social activities, such as a campaign promoting local reef conservation and offering gifts to disadvantaged children.
The Miss Earth 2016 is taking in the Philippines, attracting the participation of nearly 90 contestants around the world.
