According to the rankings, Vietnam tops Southeast Asia and stands at 15th in Asia, 94th worldwide this year.
2019 has been a successful year for Vietnamese football
Thailand remained 113th in the world, while the Philippines are 124th. Myanmar are the next ASEAN side in the rankings at 136th followed by Malaysia at 154th. Singapore are close on their heels at 157th while Indonesia and Cambodia share 173rd position.
Laos are 188th while Brunei Darussalam and Timor-Leste are the bottom two teams from ASEAN in the FIFA World Rankings occupying 191st and 196th places respectively.
Belgium top the list with 1765 points, followed by France, Brazil and England.
2019 has been a successful year for Vietnamese football as Vietnam beat UAE, Malaysia and Indonesia in the World Cup 2022 Qualifiers.
