According to the Hue Department of Tourism, the festival, themed Ngu Lien Thuc Thuy, will take place from June 19-21 at Bong Lai Islet in Tinh Tam Lake in Phu Xuan Ward as part of Festival Hue 2026.
Inspired by the beauty of the lotus flower in Hue's royal cultural heritage, the event will feature a range of tourism, cultural and culinary activities.
During the three-day festival, visitors will be able to explore lotus displays on the lake, artistic installations and themed photo spots designed to reflect Hue's cultural identity.
A variety of lotus-based products, including lotus tea, cakes and candied lotus seeds, will be showcased alongside handicrafts and souvenirs.
Community workshops on traditional lotus tea-making, Thanh Tien paper lotus flowers and lotus essential oils will also be organised to promote local cultural values and traditional crafts.
A highlight of the festival will be the Thuc Thuy Show, which will run from June 19-21 and combine artistic performances with a six-course fine-dining menu featuring lotus-inspired dishes prepared in Hue's culinary style.
The Hue Department of Tourism said the event was expected to become a summer tourism highlight, helping diversify the city's tourism offerings and enhance visitor experiences.
