The opening ceremony took place on Nguyen Hue Street, attracting a large crowd despite the rain.
More than 250 Vietnamese and international models will perform on the catwalk of 670 metre-long Nguyen Hue Street. The exhibition and shopping activities, imbued with fashion and modern technology, are also expected to entertain visitors.

Each day of the festival will be organised around different themes and activities, including Far East Identity, New Waves, and Future Stars, seeking to offer the audience a unique fashion experience through the use of the latest technologies, such as image mapping, the application of the magic mirror in showcasing products, and fashion designs using virtual reality technology.
The festival is also expected to be a place for businesses and fashion designers to seek business co-operation opportunities and develop the fashion design industry.
This evening’s performance will see the participation of Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 Pham Huong. On the evening of October 22, student collections selected many from universities will be showcased.
