The event will take place at Phu Yen Square in Tuy Hoa Ward and is expected to feature around 100 artistic kites of various shapes, sizes and colours flown by kite clubs from across Vietnam.

Organisers said the festival aimed to introduce outdoor sports and entertainment activities while showcasing Dak Lak’s natural scenery, cultural identity and tourism products to visitors.
Participating clubs include Buon Ma Thuot Kite Team, SKB Kite Club, District 8 Kite Club and Nhin Ky Ha Cuoi Kite Club from Ho Chi Minh City.
Visitors will be able to watch artistic kite performances, explore traditional whistle kite displays and join sightseeing and photography activities during the event.
Festival activities will be held daily from 6 am to 10 am and from 3 pm to 9 pm.
Local tourism authorities said the event was also intended to support new tourism products and stimulate travel demand during the summer season.
