Key highlights of the festival include cultural exchange spaces, immersive culinary experiences, and an exhibition about the history of the Vietnamese banh mi sandwich from its origins to the present.
At the festival, visitors can enjoy sandwiches from different countries in addition to Vietnam Banh Mi. Coffee and other drinks will also be available.
The festival will also set a record by serving 100 seafood-based dishes with Banh Mi displayed on a boat, symbolising the Vietnamese Banh Mi's journey to the world.
Last year, the Vietnam Banh Mi Festival took place at Le Van Tam Park in HCM City and attracted around 100,000 visitors.
