The Danang Fireworks International Festival will open this evening, June 8.
The festival’s viewing stands have nearly 10,200 seats, double 2023, and all the tickets for the final night have been sold.

Lots of hotels, restaurants and houses on Tran Hung Dao Street are charging for their views.
Some 100 of 200 rooftop seats at Salem Hotel have been booked. Each seat costs VND500,000 (USD19.64).
Another hotel on Tran Hung Dao Street is charging VND1.2 million for a child and VND2 million for an adult during the festival’s opening ceremony. The prices include a buffet. The hotel has only 40 seats on the the 12th floor.
Vu Huy, owner of a house on Tran Hung Dao Street, said that he had 50 rooftop seats at the price of VND300,000, including some free drinks.
“My house has an elevator, so guests don't have to climb stairs. Many people have paid deposits to reserve their seats,” Huy added.
The sidewalk along the Han River, especially the area opposite the fireworks display, is strictly managed to ban illegal encroachment therefore, rooftop seats have become the ideal spots to admire the fireworks.
The Danang Department of Tourism reported that the city has around 1,285 tourism accommodation establishments with a total of 45,672 rooms. On the opening night of the fireworks festival, the occupancy rate is estimated to reach about 67 percent for seaside accommodation establishments and over 80 percent for riverside hotels. Some 3-star hotels have been fully booked for the opening day.
The festival scheduled to end on July 13 has the participation of the eight teams from France, Italy, the US, Germany, Poland, China, Finland and Vietnam.
