On August 10, departure times were delayed for two flights from HCM City and Hanoi to RoK’s Busan City (VN422 and VN426) as well as two others from Busan to the Vietnamese cities (VN423 and VN427).

Meanwhile, four flights between Hanoi, HCM City and the RoK’s Incheon city – VN404, VN414, VN405 and VN415 – will take off one hour earlier.

According to Vietnam Airlines, as other airlines have also adjusted their flight schedules to avoid the typhoon, congestion or delays are likely to occur at airports, leading to unexpected changes in takeoff and landing time. The changes are made for weather-related safety reasons, and Vietnam Airlines will implement passenger support procedures as per current regulations.

The carrier advised passengers to closely follow the weather forecast and flight schedule updates on their Facebook page, website, mobile phone messages, and email.
