At peak summer from May to August, the waterfalls often have hundreds of people swimming each day, mostly foreigners.

However, the waterfall has not yet been managed by any unit. So, visitors come there totally free of charge.

Hoang Minh Truong, chairman of Du Gia Commune, admitted the situation in which visitors engage in extreme activities without proper supervision as in the clip. This can be dangerous and set a bad precedent for inexperienced tourists who might try to imitate them.

Since early this month, local authorities have placed warnings at the waterfall. The locality has also considered ways to operate the waterfall area effectively.
