Police in Trang Bom District reported that the accident occurred at 3.10 am when a motorbike carrying four people collided with a truck which was running in the opposite direction on the 767 Provincial Road.
The strong collision left three people on the motorbike dead on the spot and one other was badly hurt. The victims were all men aged between 22-28.
The truck driver was stuck in his cabin which was heavily damaged. He was then helped out and taken to hospital with injuries in his legs.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
