Third World Vovinam Championships to be held in France
The World Vovinam Federation has announced the third World Vovinam Championships will be held in Paris, France from July 3–7, 2013.
The World Vovinam Federation (WVVF) has announced the third World Vovinam Championships will be held in Paris, France from July 3–7, 2013. A WVVF delegation, led by Vice Chairman and General Secretary Dr. Vo Danh Hai, arrived in France on December 20 at the invitation of the European Vovinam Federation, examining the championships’ preparations.
The delegation will meet with the European Vovinam Federation on December 22 and begin inspecting the progress made on facilities and locations nominated for coach and referee training courses in 2013.
The WVVF is working with Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to organise a “Vovinam Day in France” on July 4, 2013 at the Cultural House of Vietnam in Paris.
The event is part of celebrations commemorating the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-France diplomatic ties.
