According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, as of 1 pm today, October 14, the storm’s epicentre was around 250 kilometres southeast of Danang City and Quang Nam Province.

The central region of Vietnam would experience torrential rain this weekend
At around 1 pm on October 15, the eye of the storm would be roughly 90 kilometres east of localities from Danang and Quang Ngai Province. It will then make landfall in these localities.
From this evening, coastal areas from Thua Thien-Hue to Binh Dinh would have strong winds. These areas would face erosion and rough seas.
The National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting has forecasted torrential rain in the central and Central Highlands regions of Vietnam with a rainfall of between 150-700 mm. Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue and Quang Nam would see the highest rainfall of 700 mm.
