According to an investigation by Phan Thiet City Police Department, Stanislav Golubev, 37, of Russian nationality, suddenly jumped off the balcony of the second floor of the Aloha Guest House while talking on the phone with his family member at 9 pm on Wednesday.
The man was brought to the Binh Thuan Provincial General Hospital by staff but he died shortly due to serious injuries.
His body is currently being kept at the province's centre for an autopsy.
Phan Thiet Police has also reported the death of Golubev to the Russian Consulate in HCM City.
