Real estate courses are attracting a large number of people following soaring land prices in the central highlands province of Dak Nong.

Real estate brokers in Dak Nong Province
Nguyen Thi Hanh in Gia Nghia City said that she has worked part-time as a real estate broker for several years but has never seen such a busy market as it is now.
"Land prices have been rising sharply in many central highlands provinces including Dak Nong since last year," she said. "The hot market has attracted many people to become agents. And training courses have also been mushrooming.”
The woman said that she has decided to leave her accounting job to work full time as a real estate broker.
"The market is now still very promising and I want to take advantage of this time to further develop in this work," Hanh said. "So I've enrolled in a training course to have more knowledge on land use laws and related regulations.
The Dak Nong Provincial Centre for Continuing Education is co-operating with a construction company in Hanoi to organise various training courses for real estate brokers.
"We've received an increasing number of registrations right after announcing the courses," the centre said. "For example, the course Management of Real Estate Transactions has received more than 200 registrations a day after being launched."
The central province has seen soaring land prices over the past few months.
After information about construction plans of some major tourist sites were announced, land prices around Ta Dung Lake in Dak Glong District have accelerated. Some plots of agricultural land have been announced for sale at up to billions of VND per hectare.
According to a local real estate company, demand for land for building farm houses or country-side houses have increased among people in big cities like Hanoi and HCM City. While lands in HCM City's neighbouring provinces of Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, and Lam Dong have become too high, people have gone to seek further to the central highlands provinces of Dak Lak, Dak Nong and Gia Lai. Here land with views to lakes or rivers are most sought for.
