At the Cat Lai intersection in the eastern gateway, typically one of the city’s busiest junctions, traffic was sparse at 7 am, with only a handful of vehicles passing through.

The stretch from Vo Nguyen Giap towards Dien Bien Phu roundabout, often gridlocked at peak times, flowed freely.

Under cool, clear skies and gentle sunshine, many families dressed in new clothes ventured out to exchange New Year greetings or stroll through the city, embracing the tranquil atmosphere after a year of hard work.
