The decision was made by the leaders of the Vietnam Football Federation on January 13.Phuc, who is the head coach of the Hanoi FC, has helped gain some remarkable achievements for youth teams, including the ASEAN championship titles for the U16 Vietnam in 2008 and 2010 and a ticket to the 2011 Asian Cup for the U19 squad.
Most recently, the U22 team under his instruction performed very well at the 2012 Binh Duong Television (BTV) Cup.
