Photos featuring Vietnam’s formal capitals displayed

A photo exhibition on Vietnam’s former capitals through different historical periods has recently been opened at Hung Kings Temple relic site in Phu Tho province.

A photo exhibition on Vietnam’s former capitals through different historical periods has recently been opened at Hung Kings Temple relic site in Phu Tho province.

Under the theme ‘Vietnam’s capitals’, more than 200 photos selected from 1,000 works featuring five capitals of Vietnam in different periods of time including Van Lang in Phu Tho, Hoa Lu in Ninh Binh, Lam Kinh in Thanh Hoa, Hue in Thua Thien - Hue and Thang Long - Hanoi.

The photos on display reflect the changes of nation’s regions and people’s lives, especially the national socio-economic achievements over the last 20 years of the renewal process.

The exhibition also helps to raise public awareness of the national roots and national cultural values from the past to the present.

The exhibition, which lasts until April 25, is part of activities to commemorate Hung Kings’ death anniversary and the millennium anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi.
