The price of E5 RON 92 petrol has increased by VND390 to VND20,878 per litre, and that of RON 95 rose by VND516 to VND22,015 per litre.

Meanwhile, the price of diesel oil slightly fell by VND 11 to VND17,943 per litre, and kerosene price also decreased by VND198 to VND17,771 per litre. The price of Mazut oil also dropped by VND275 to VND14,883 per kilo.

At this price adjustment, the two ministries extracted VND300 per litre from all kinds of petrol and oil for the petrol price stabilisation fund.

According to the two ministries, petrol and oil prices have been affected by OPEC+'s oil production cuts, concerns over the US’ debt ceiling, and higher interest rates.
