Petrol prices increase after three consecutive cuts

The retail prices of petrol slightly increased from Monday afternoon following the latest adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

From 3 pm on May 22, the prices of E5 RON 92 and RON 95 petrol rose by VND350 and VND490 per litre to VND20,480 and VND21,490 per litre, respectively.

The price of diesel oil also went up VND300 per litre to VND17,950 per litre, while kerosene decreased by VND10 to VND17,960 per litre.

This was the latest petrol price hike following three decreases.

The two ministries have also decided to extract VND300 per litre from E5 RON 92, RON 95 petrol, and diesel, kerosene oil, and VND300 per kilo from mazut oil for the Petrol Price Stabilisation Fund.
