The drugs seized
The Hanoi Customs Department on January 19 announced that they had co-operated with authorities in Noi Bai Airport and Bac Ninh Province to detain a man who imported the large amount of drugs from Holland.
According to the department, the anti-drug unit under the department checked eight cartons of chocolate weighing 154 kilos sent from Holland which were suspected to contain drugs. They then found and seized 6,790 kilos of ketamine and 51,788 kilos of MDMA drugs hidden among the chocolate bars.
The unit then worked with Bac Ninh Provincial Police to detain a man who received the cartons.
