An accident occurs at a coal mine in Quang Ninh earlier this year
According to a report from the company which belongs to the Vietnam National Coal & Mineral Industries Holding Corporation, the accident occurred at 3am on Wednesday when five workers were working in a mine.
"The mine suddenly collapsed and buried two workers while three others escaped with slight injuries," the report said. "One of the buried workers, 25-year-old Nguyen The Hoat, was then found dead and the other had serious injuries."
Two accidents have occurred at Quang Ninh coal mines over the past week, causing two deaths and four injures.
