The scorching hot front has been forecasted to end in the northern region of Vietnam this weekend, giving way to rain.

The scorching hot front has been forecasted to end in the northern region of Vietnam this weekend, giving way to rain.

According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, the hot wave in northern localities would last until the end of June 3. From June 4-8, the northern region, particularly mountainous and midland areas would experience rain.

The hot weather in the northern region would stop soon

The rain would help the temperature to slightly fall in the region.

Over the recent days, the northern region has witnessed the hot weather with the temperature of around 40 degrees centigrade in some localities including Son La, Dien Bien, Hoa Binh and Lao Cai.

Hanoi’s highest temperature has been approximately 38 degrees centigrade.

Meanwhile, the heat would ravage central localities from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien-Hue until June 5.

The Central Highlands and southern regions would see rain and strong winds between June 3-8.
